It is amazing how much fuel is used by idling vehicles. One of the biggest source is from drive throughs, about 200 000 000 litres of gasoline are burned in BC by cars in drive throughs. The time has come for the provincial government to ban all drive throughs.
Think about, 460 000 tonnes of CO2 emissions in BC from cars at drive throughs. That is the same as the emissions of 30 000 people in BC.
